For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved classic furniture pieces, especially those dating from the Mid Century Modern era. (Maybe that’s because I’m a Mid Century Modern piece myself!)

The wonderful thing about these furniture items – as the word ‘classic’ suggests – is that they are timeless and a few select pieces will suit any decor. These days, I live in an apartment from that era and couldn’t love it more. Yes,I’m ecstatic about Eames, nuts for Noguchi and absolutely bonkers about Bertoia.

This will be my next acquisition, I think. I believe I prefer the white version shown in the image at the top of the page. Although I love the one below, a paler,lighter look would be more suitable for my tiny, but beautiful apartment.  Mind you, the Eames coffee table is on the list too…
