Pumpkin Pie Dessert
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 can (29 oz) Pumpkin
  • 2 cans (12 fl oz each) evaporated milk
  • Yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick of margarine
  1. In a small bowl mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
  2. In a large bowl beat eggs.
  3. Stir in pumpkin and sugar spice mixture.
  4. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.
  5. Pour into a cake pan.
  6. Mix ¾ of a box yellow cake mix with one stick of softened butter until it is a crumbly mixture.
  7. Sprinkle on top.
  8. Bake at 350 for an hour. Be sure to keep an eye on the topping so it don't get too brown or even a burnt look.
  9. Stick a tooth pick in the center to check the dessert. It should come clean. That will tell you it is done. If it's not clean then stick it back in the oven but keep and eye on it. Then check it again.
  10. Cool. Cut into squares. Enjoy!
