Bread rolls

Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 3¼ cups bread flour
  • ¼ cup sugar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons bread machine/fast acting yeast
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in bread machine according to your machine directions.
  2. Run on the dough cycle.
  3. When finished, remove from pan with floured hands, and set on floured parchment paper.
  4. Allow the dough to rest 10 minutes.
  5. Divide dough into pieces, about 3 inches a round.
  6. Lightly shape into a ball.
  7. Set on parchment lined cookie sheet.
  8. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes or until double in size.
  9. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  10. Bake rolls 10 to 15 minutes until nicely browned.
  11. Brush with butter (optional).
  12. Allow to cool before storing
  13. To freeze, cool about 15 minutes then seal in a zip bag.
