Happy Holidays and a Joyous Thanksgiving From Tweedle Pet Products – Natural and Organic – Gourmet Gluten-Grain Free Non GMO treats for Pets and Pet Parents.

thanksgiving dog and catTweedle and I are wishing all of our friends a happy and healthy Thanksgiving Holiday. So much food looks so delicious, but I nudge myself to try and taste a variety of foods, but not to overdo it. We can always revisit the fixings table, for a second and third portion…Why get ourselves sick eating foods we are not supposed to eat due to dietary reasons. Then, we rationalize when the heartburn sets in, “oh….it’s a holiday….I have to live it up”.

Excess fat and grease and turkey skin coated with butter etc. is not a good choice to give to your furry four legged friends. Also, remember raisins and chocolate are toxic to dogs. A little turkey, sweet potato, and green beans – (minus the cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions) are okay to share. Be careful about the rich creamy buttered mashed potatoes, that might be a little rich for your furkids. You might be able to save the the gravy just for you and your humans.

In any event, have fun, live it up, love your desert, and I guess one would say “Forget about your diet” for Thanksgiving Day”, and before driving if you lived it up with alcohol, have a loved one or friend drive you home…

Best Wishes,

  1. Hi Merry

Turkey is ok but remove the fat and it might be best not to give your pooch the rich gravy. Sweet Potatoes are always great!

    Enjoy your holiday!

  2. Darling children you have here! Looks like a great product too. Thank you for the reminder to keep the turkey away from the furry kids. It’s wonderful they can have sweet potatoes instead!
