Homemade Sloppy Joes

Four Ingredients

I was looking for something easy, low budget and with just a few ingredients. Then a co-worker suggested making home-made sloppy joes. All you use is hamburger, ketchup, mustard and brown sugar she said. That sure piqued my interest. So I went home and made it.

Oh my goodness I’ll never buy the canned sloppy joe sauce ever again! Making them like this is so good and even better. I was never reallly fond of the canned sauce because they seemed to turn too greasy.

With these three ingredients of ketchup, mustard and brown sugar added to your burger makes them truly good. I just add each ingredient to my taste; I don’t measure it. I also use venison meat because its lower in fat grease. You’ll get a hint of sweetness with these sloppy joes too. Sounds yummy already, right? So that’s all there is to making these.

Simple Meal

Sloppy joes make for a simple meal at home or great for entertaining friends and family. You can never go wrong in making these. They will go over well every time; just add a lettuce salad with veggies or a macaroni salad. You’ll have a simple but tasty meal.
