Superior Sound in a Mini Speaker from Bose

Talk about getting a wonderful sound from a super small speaker, and you will most likely be talking about the Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker. It’s ideal, and it’s tiny. The name Bose is associated with quality sound, and this one performs as such.

As you can see in the picture, it’s very attractive as well, with a matte finish on solid aluminum. It feels very sturdy considering its light weight. My purchase was partly for home and partly for travel and it’s perfect for both. It weighs only a 1.5 pounds and measures 2.3 x 7.1 x 2 inches. That’s small enough that it’s easy to slip it in anywhere, including a suitcase or carry-on.

That is what appealed to me. Instead of the big sound systems with bulky speakers that take up so much space, the Mini is in one small, easy-to-move package. I love that I can have one little speaker and take it room to room as I go about my day. It’s really all I need.

Judging by its Bestseller status at Amazon, I’m not the only one who loves it. It isn’t that often that you see so many ratings for one product. The Bose MiniSpeaker has over 6000 ratings with over 3100 reviews, and a 5 star rating. It clearly lives up to the Bose name.

A phenomenal tiny speaker that offers the expected Bose sound. Ideal for any room, a dorm room or an apartment. Also light and easy to take anywhere.  Let’s see if I can sum up my reasons right below.

Favorite Features in the Bose MiniSpeaker

Bose name: I’d tried other smaller, less expensive speakers but found they weren’t loud enough most of the time. With Bose, I expected the best and believe I got it. The sound easily fills a room and can be heard in noisy situations, even outdoors.

Small size for small space: It is so small! Before downsizing, I got rid of the old music system we’d had for several years. Since then I have been on the lookout for something smaller to take its place. With the smart phones now, and iPods, our music requires little space. I no longer need or want a whole system. This provides the solution for me.

7 hours from a 3 hour charge: It’s a quick recharge for 7 hours listening. Of course you can have it plugged in while you listen too.

Easy recharge: Just sit it in its cradle and it charges up in 3 hours. The charger can also be plugged directly into the speaker if you don’t want to use the cradle. It’s handy that it is so fast recharging.

So portable: While before a dock might do the trick for one room, this Bose mini speaker can go from room to room with you. If I’m working in the kitchen, it can be stashed in a corner where I can listen while I cook. At night, fall asleep to music or my favorite–an audiobook. It will charge in its little cradle in the bedroom. It is perfect for traveling,

An great sound without the cost of a whole system: It has a wonderful sound. Really pretty amazing considering the size of it. I’ve heard it’s best near a wall for a better base sound, but it does great to me wherever it’s used.

Bluetooth: It connects easily to iphone or iPod through bluetooth, but also has plug in connector for older units without a wireless function.

The Bose SoundTouch

Once again, it’s Bose. Bose is all about sound. Think you need something bigger? This may not move room to room as easily, but will give you a great sound. Uses wi-fi, which makes it easy. Access Pandora or your other computer radio stations on this unit.

The Bose Headphones

Perhaps one of the most in demand items from Bose is this set of headphones.  Using Bose proprietary technology, this set blocks the outside noise while providing a powerful sound experience.  They are designed for comfort during hours of wearing.  The set comes with a 56 inch remote cable, and even a little lightweight carrying case.  Over 1400 ratings, nearly 400 reviews, with a 4.5 average rating.  People love them.
