The Kitchn Cookbook

That’s not a typo. The Kitchn is is division of the fabulous Apartment Therapy website which I’ve been enjoying on a daily basis for ten or more years. You only have to look at the cover of the book above to see that the style that typifies the entire website is at work here.

This is so much more than a cookbook though. It contains down-to-earth yet up-to-the-minute ideas, tips and plans to help your entire kitchen life run more smoothly – and create delicious foods at the same time.

This is not just a budget-conscious, environmentally-friendly lifestyle book, it’s also full of tutorials to help you learn or sharpen up your cooking skills. Authors Sara Kate Gillingham and Faith Durand firmly believe that a gorgeously stylish kitchen, created on a budget of course, will encourage you to spend more time there and thus create wonderfully healthy and tasty foods for yourself and the family.

Entertaining is well-covered too, with plenty of tips and stylish hints – plus recipes. This is a book for real people by real people. Throughout the book there are comments from website readers and Sara Kate in particular is a specialist in small space living so if your kitchen is tiny, she has some great ideas for you.

You can buy the book for your Kindle or the hardback version and it’s currently available from Amazon – just click the link to see more.
