Crossroads Motel, Oxford, Wisconsin: Review.

When we turned into the motel driveway it’s a little woodsy drive in. As you near the clearing you see a lighthouse in the grass and then a little further in you see a fire-pit and a volleyball ball net. Then there is the long row of motels. The office is off to the side. You can park right in front of your door which is nice.

Inside The Motel

When we opened the door to our room we saw two double beds. There was a cute little table off to the side with two chairs which was in front of the curtained window.

The TV was set up high in the corner down from the beds. You could lay there and easily watch in comfort. There was a dresser with a mirror and chair. The dresser had a small coffee pot on the one end and on the other end was a lower part where you could set your luggage. There was also a little recliner chair off to the side of the dresser with a cute afghan on the back.

Our room had a small refrigerator and a microwave plus a place to hang up clothes. The bathroom had a full tub with a shower head in it and toilet which was in its own little room with a door. The sink was outside it with a blow dryer on the wall alongside.

A few cons:
~ Beds hard
~ Shower too low
~ WiFi service isn’t very good.

Even though the bed was hard and the shower head low, the water was hot. It depends on how important WiFi is and if you really need it or not. You can always go into town to get a better connection.

The owners are super friendly and its great woodsy location. The prices  are very affordable. Overall a nice motel and I give it a thumbs up!

Cabins

The motel also owns two cabins. They are brand new. We looked at one of them as a possibility for another time. They both have porches. The beds were softer when we felt them.

It has two bedrooms, a nice big bathroom, a kitchenette and living room. It could be occupied by up to six people. The more people you have, the better price rates you get.
