Frosted Cinnamon Biscuits

Ingredients
  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • ¼ cup coconut oil (solid, not melted)
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, or stevia
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • FROSTING:
  • ⅔ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Blend dry ingredients.
  3. Add milk, and still until blended.
  4. For drop biscuits out onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper OR...
  5. For rolled biscuits, roll on parchment paper until about ½ inch thick, then using a cookie cutter or a glass, cut out biscuits. Then place on cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 8 to 12 minutes, or until they just begin to brown.
  7. Allow to cool a few minutes, then frost while still warm.
  8. FROSTING:
  9. Stir milk into powdered sugar until the desired consistency. Add another drop or two of water or milk if needed.
  10. Drizzle over biscuits.
  11. Serve Warm.
