Basil Pesto Recipe

Serves: 4
  • 1 Cup Chopped Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1 Cup Chopped Fresh Parsley Leaves
  • 1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ¾ Cup Olive Oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pound of your favorite cooked pasta
  1. Start a large pot of water on the stove to boil. While it is boiling, add the pasta and stir.
  2. Depending on your pasta, add oil or salt to help keep the pasta from sticking.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, assemble the remaining seven ingredients in to a blender and blend until pureed.
  4. Remove the cooked pasta from the water and place in a large bowl.
  5. Stir in the pureed pesto mixture into the pasta.
