Cinnamon Roll Cake

Lets Get Started!

I had this recipe laying around for a little while waiting to make it. Gee, what was I waiting for. It turned out so fantastic! After it is was baked; it came out looking like a cake this is cracked on top. I thought I’d done something wrong at first but that is how it is suppose to be for the glaze to seep into it. The taste is to die for and you’ll love it. It is buttery, cinnamony and light in flavor but not too sweet. Perfect tasting!

So give this recipe a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Cinnamon Roll Cake Recipe

  • CAKE:
  • 3 cups flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup butter melted

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

  • GLAZE:
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 5 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  1. Preheat over 350
  2. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
  3. BATTER: With an electric mixer add flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, milk, eggs and vanilla. Once combined well, add melted butter. Pour into the baking pan.
  4. TOPPING:In a large bowl mix melted butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon together until creamy. Drop evenly over the batter by tablespoonfuls. Then use a butter knife to swirl into cake making it looking marble design.
  5. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Check with a toothpick when you remove from oven to make sure it is done. Toothpick must be clean when comes out of cake. Don't worry if it looks like it's cracked all over the top. It is suppose to look that so the glaze seeps into the cake
  6. GLAZE: In a medium bow mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla together with a whisk. Drizzle evenly over top of warm cake.
  7. Serve warm - YUM!
