I Love My Imac Desktop

I love my iMac Desktop.

I am in love with my iMac desktop so much that I have two of them! That’s right I have one for me and another for my very, very lucky son.

iMac

I must admit that his one is quite old and I used to run my business on it, however, he still uses it perfectly well to produce his electronic dance music and videos. So we have had years of use out of it.

My son has named it his Apple iPie, and sadly it is on its last legs now, which is quite an emotional time for us! As my son put it: ‘when you first get an iMac you may feel a bit in awe because it’s such quality, but it soon grows on you, and mine has become one of my closest friends. I make my music and films on it. So I’m so sad that it’s soon got to go.’

However, he is very excited that we’re getting a new iMac just like the one I’ve picked out here!

My iMac works perfectly because I am an Apple person and therefore I feel right at home using it. I’m not sure whether PC users will be reading this or whether I’m just talking to the converted, but I would never, ever trade my iMac for a PC. I have a PC laptop but it’s just not as user friendly and far too complicated – I just cannot be bothered!

I am a teacher and, sadly, PCs won the day when they were deciding what computers to stock in state schools, which is a real shame because PCs are nowhere near as exciting to use. It’s interesting that they have Macs in staff rooms!

There’s no doubt in my mind that they’re better. However feel free to disagree in the comments box below.

I have a beautifully clear 21.5 inch screen which is perfect for my needs. I produce children’s artwork and I use Photoshop on my iMac, which works so well with inDesign. The fast speed of the Apple iMac and its clear screen are a great combination and make my life very easy indeed. It’s perfect for any art or photography work.

I love iTunes and so does my son who mastered how to use it in a few minutes! He also uses iMovie with ease. He learned how to do this when he was about 12 years old. I also love iPhoto because it lets me edit my shots quickly and with very little technical knowledge.

It’s very easy to create and organize files because everything is so obvious. However if you need help YouTube is packed with videos that will teach you the ropes.

This newest iMac 2013 is very, very slim, and is totally quiet. It comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard, which I think are really nice, but you do need to remember to have spare batteries in your desk. The batteries in my mouse don’t last that long, but that’s because I forget to switch it off at night!

It comes with a keyboard, mouse one cable and that’s it!

I haven’t got an iPad, but picture this, they link together when you’re away from home, so it’s just like having your computer with you – I think that’s got to be on my list of must haves!

Mine looks so elegant on my desk and I can safely say that I am a very proud iMac desktop user – it was indeed love at first sight!

iMac2

Here I am with my beloved iMac Desktop. It is the slightly older version so it hasn’t got that funky slim design, but it’s absolutely fantastic.

I absolutely love the simple elegant design of any Apple Mac product. Here’s an article about my son’s Apple iPod Shuffle an awesome tiny thing that you can load with hours of music!

Are you an Apple freak like me? What do you think of this iMac Desktop? Please leave a comment. Thank for your visit.
