Poke Stops in Fort Lauderdale.

You may have read our other articles about the wonderful rental apartment we have in beautiful, sunny Fort Lauderdale. The apartment has everything you’ll need for a great vacation but did those of you who are Pokemon players that we also have Poke Stops very nearby?

Riverwalk

The Riverwalk linear park is a wonderful place for everyone. Walk alongside the water enjoying the tropical foliage while you watch the boats go by. On the first Sunday of every month there is a remarkably fabulous jazz brunch featuring great music and fantastic food.

But more importantly, if you’re a Pokémon player, there are several locations where you can pick up Pokemom characters, especially those of a watery nature. If Psyduck and Magikarp mean anything to you, this is the place to be!

NSU Art Museum

There are lots of reasons to go to the art museum, located right on the fabulous Las Olas Boulevard. And it’s just a short walk away from the Riverfront. And now there’s yet another reason to visit this wonderful place.

There are two Poke Stops here. You might have to pay a small admission charge (even lower for students, vets, kids, seniors and the military) but it’s worth it for the opportunity. (Don’t miss their great café).

Tate’s Comics

A little further afield in Lauderhill you’ll find yet another stop. Well, several stops actually and two gyms. They are at 4566 N. University Drive. They have been named locally as one of the best places in the area to play Pokémon Go.

There are also two Pokémon gyms just across the street

There will be many more to come that are within easy walking distance of our great rental apartment.

Meetups

Already, free meetups are being arranged for South Florida Pokemon Go players. Visitors and temporary guests are welcome!

Quote from the internet:

“Downtown Fort Lauderdale (Las Olas Blvd) is a straight shot with tons of Pokestops and Gyms – I work down there and walk around during my lunch break and easily hit 8 within a 20 minute walk. YOLO and the nearby vicinity has lures all day. The Museum and the surrounding area has a ton of Pokestops also.”

Watch this space!

As the craze grows, which it no doubt will, more and more venues will be added to this page. (If you know of one, please let us know).
