Prince George: Get the Look

Prince George of Cambridge: Get the Look.

When his new sister Princess Charlotte was christened in July 2015, the media unanimously agreed that young Prince George – who was just a few weeks shy of two years old – stole the show.

William and Catherine each have their own distinctive style and it seems that young George is already a trendsetter.

Clothing manufacturers rushed to recreate the garments that the young prince wore at the christening; one of his rare appearances in front of the camera. If you’d like to purchase the outfit for your own precious little boy, then you’ll need to hurry as at time of writing there are only a few left. Hopefully, they will be restocked as they are obviously proving to be incredibly popular.

The smocking on the shirt is created by hand but the outfit is not at all expensive and is available in sizes to fit little guys from three months to two years. I love the details such as the pearl buttons. And of course, it’s machine washable. I imagine that unlike William and Catherine you don’t have a bevy of nannies, nursemaids and laundresses at your beck and call 🙂

The outfit has snap buttons in the shorts so when it’s time to do the necessary changing, it’s no problem.

The set has the wonderful timeless look of a true classic. This means will never date – it’s the sort of garment that could quite easily become a family heirloom, given its royal connections. It would also make a splendidly regal, yet smart and stylish, gift.  It will be so interesting to see what fashions the young Prince George starts in the future!
